WHO WE ARE We are a Canadian company and affiliate of one of the largest and most sophisticated pharmacies in Canada. WHAT WE DO Our mission it to help people acquire needed prescription medications through our affiliated pharmacy in Canada safely, easily and promptly, and help them realize significant savings over the cost of the same medication in US. WHY WE DO IT In interviews with hundreds of people, primarily seniors, we discovered that one of their greatest problems and concerns was the cost of their prescription medications. We talked to several people whose medication was so expensive, they were forced to choose between purchasing medication and other important needs such as food and housing. We can help.  President Bush voiced his desire for a prescription drug benefit as a part of Medicare in his State of the Union address this year. Hopefully, Congress will pass legislation to include this benefit in Medicare, but who knows how long it will take? What can people do in the meantime?  We discovered a growing number of people get their medications from Canada and Mexico because they are typically much less expensive. Those living close to the borders of these two countries can travel in person to obtain their medications, but for most of us, the cost to travel exceeds the savings that would be realized on the medications. In doing some research we discovered one of the largest pharmacies in Canada willing to fill and ship prescriptions directly to clients in the US through the mail. We formed an affiliate relationship with the pharmacy to extend their services to those people in the US who could benefit from significantly lower prescription costs. Medicine From Canada was formed.
